[ note ]

*Νήριον [<νερό, water] or Nerium Oleander (πικροδάφνη) grows in Thessaly and is speculated to be the plant that Pythia used at the Oracle of Delphi in order to reach the trance state that allowed her to predict the future. A cure for the uncertainties of the future, Nerium in large quantities can be a poison, just like the truth.
